Background
The Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) is the peak body when it comes to gender diversity in Australia and is an Australian Government statutory agency created by the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012. We partnered with WGEA to co-create a series of documents guiding Australian gender reporting organisations on how to read, interpret, and communicate their WGEA Benchmark Reports.
What we did
We co-created and co-designed the Benchmark Insights Guide with WGEA, which provides organisations and their leaders information and ideas on how to communicate and advance gender diversity and gender representation in organisations. Communication is a critical change component when working on diversity and inclusion. We created a communications template to be downloaded that any organisation could use to share their results with a board or executive team.
Results
The Insights Guide and communication templates help HR leaders/managers, Diversity leaders/managers, and executives to better shape the conversations they have around gender diversity in their organisations. The documents are housed on the WGEA website and offer great insight to those who use them.
